Before we sell a new trip, our team runs it with a small group of friends and returning travellers. Vietnam was no exception.

What we changed

We cut a day of driving, added a second night in Hanoi and switched to a smaller boat on Ha Long Bay so the group gets the deck to itself. The fog came in at 6 am and nobody posted a single photo for an hour.
